My Blogging Spot

A while back (Ok, a really really long time ago, it was February!!) Winona of Daddy Likey posted photos of her blogging space. I'm really nosey, so I love seeing inside people's houses, especially things like where their computer is as I like to imagine bloggers tapping away at their keyboards as I read their posts! Is that weird?

Anyway, if you get the same stalkerish delight from peeking inside other people's lives (it's not creepy, I promise!) then feel free to have a look at mine!

Important features are of course 1. the hugemungous screen for proper observation of rss feed (I admit, I let two gamer geeks build my computer, and didn't really question the phrase 'Oh, everyone needs a 22 inch screen' til the box arrived...) 2. Blogging fuel in the form of lots of coffeeee 3. Coloured pencils for colourful thoughts 4. A mirror, to make sure you look stylish while blogging 5. multiple thinking hats for pondering in 6. motivational quotes (the postcard stuck to my shelf reads 'If you look good, and dress well, you don't need a purpose in life.' - Robert Dante) 7. A handy nearby bed, for napping when blogging gets too exhausting!

Mine is just my bed and my macbook. I spend wayyy to much time in my bed which probably contributes to my insomnia and I think I should get a nice chair so I can use my desk.

Regular keyboard key seem so tall to me now. I've been using laptops for like 6 years now.

Hehe, I get that same stalkerish delight. Your desk is like 100 times neater than mine and I love that Doctor Who poster. And I have mirror right next to my computer as well. I have no idea why...

Loved the little peek into your blogging space! You are so neat; you have made me want a box of colored pencils; I giggled at your 'thinking hats'; I love that chair - for some reason wicker always reminds me of summer/the beach! x

I adore your sense of style. A 6-foot silk scarf is very multi-useful, especially if you wear leather. I get mine from Sporty's, an online pilot's gear shop. I am also amused to see someone else also uses actual hats. When I get writer's bllock, I have some particular hats I put on, such as a 40's fedora, and then I speak in the accent of noir tough-guy journalism, sounding a lot like Walter Winchell. The words seem to laugh and bounce out at their own speed like a Bellagio fountain. Refreshing! Thanks for having a fascinating blog.

Ahaha! What none of you can see is the huge pile of crap just off camera on my bed!

Actually I am pretty organised, but I have to admit to tidying up before I took the photo!
