Delayed but not Forgotten

P1040780.JPG_effected-001

I finally got around to writing my christmas thank you letters! It's only taken me almost-a-month! I bought some pretty notecards on the way home at the station last night to make the job a bit more fun, and then sat at my mum's desk (she must be the only person with no computer on her desk, but a complete 1930s desk set with inkwell, and a vintage phone!

The art of sending thank you letters, or more likely the duty(!) was definitely drummed in early by my parents, but I still try and send a few out if I get gifts, especially if they came by post so I haven't been able to thank the sender in person.

I did mine ages ago! I sat at my dressing table to do them as I hate my desk, and I had my laptop playing Gossip Girl Season 2 playing next to me.. the letters flew by!

My parents never really bothered but since I got all DIY-ey I made my own (with Hokusai prints on the front) and sent them out, I was very proud!
