Dress - Clothing at Tesco, Hat - really old(!), shoes - random shop in San Francisco, bag - 1950s Vintage

This is what I wore to college yesterday. I'm in college now up until my exams in mid December (only a couple of weeks to go now, eek!) but at least I get a bit more freedom in what I wear compared to being at the office. This dress was a gift from Clothing at Tesco. Tor from Fab Frocks kindly tagged me to receive an item from them and this was the result!

That's actually not quite true, I picked a dress from their couture collection originally but it arrived and just didn't fit me at all, so I had to send it back. They generously let me pick something else instead though, so I went for this gorgeous red dress. I really love the colour and the pattern, it's just a bit of a shame it's quite low cut at the front and to avoid passers by getting an eyeful I have to wear a cami under it. Still, all the more reason to gift myself a Topshop bustier to go under it!

I love the colour of your dress. That sucks that your first pick didn't fit you but this one seems to fit you wonderfully.
Good luck with school!

What a pretty dress! You look absolutely lovely, Harriet! I have such a problem with cleavage-y dresses, wearing a bustier underneath is a great idea :)

You look just lovely. I always mean to check out Tesco, but I guess it's just as well for my budget that there isn't one near me. I'm also wearing a ridiculously low dress today. Why do they make them that way?

You look so grown up! I feel like an old lady for thinking this, but why are dresses always so low cut or way too short?
