Krisatomic recently posted on twitter about how easy it is to make photos look vintagey and cool on an iphone and I think it's true! Given my PC is at the computer hospital at the moment I'm mostly reading and writing blogs via my phone it's a good thing I've got a pretty snazzy one. Mostly I just use my iphone camera for quick shots to upload to twitter, but the pictures I've taken aren't too bad, and if it can even make my textbook look pretty it must be magic! Mostly I use the Hipstamatic and Plastic Bullet Apps, which i really love, Plastic Bullet especially though it's probably the less well known of the two.

There aren't that many photo editing apps for non apple phones, but a quick google brought up this article on the best photo apps for android but there really isn't much around for Blackberry users which is a shame.

Are you a smartphone user? Will we soon give up with cameras in favour of out phones? I'm sure it will happen one day but for now I still love my camera too much to ever think my phone could replace it. Doesn't mean I don't love the apps which come with it though!

If you are an iphone person what are your favourite apps? I'd love to add a few more to my collection, photo or otherwise!

I love the different filter-y photo apps on my iPhone. I especially like Instagram (at the moment) - its free and has its own little network going.
I used to like Shake It Photo as well but since Instagram haven't bothered so much with it!

I'd love a smart phone - and this feature is the one thing that puts the i-phone at the top for me! Such an awesome idea, think they've caught on to vintage obsessors like us!

I do love how easy it is to make photos look vintage-y with an iphone but it seems that eveone on my facebook friends is uploading vintage-y photos like that these days! Takes the charm from it a little :\

Nothing beats the real fusion of colours you get through a Lomo camera, in my opinion!

The pics are pretty cool indeed.
I love my smartphone (it's a Nokia), unfortunately Nokia has boring apps, lol. I'd love to have a nokia with cool iphones apps.

Lovely photos, hard to believe they were taken using a phone! It's great you're still able to blog a bit, I know I'd feel lost without my laptop... I wish the Blackberry would get its act together.
