And the winners are...

Congratulations to Alexandra (Life after 20) and Tamsin (Miss Believer)

I have emailed you both and passed your contact details on to the lovely Sarah so she can get in touch and send you your prizes! For everyone else don't forget there's still 10% off at Sarah's etsy shop using the discount code whereisharriet until 15th December so if you need to console yourself after not winning you know what to do!

As a p.s., there have been a few conversations about blogger etiquette and what's considered bad blogger manners in various places recently, most notably on Gem's blog where there was quite an interesting post and the comments are epic! I'm sure it's obvious already, but I just wanted to say that I held this competition because I love Sarah's jewellery and if I didn't I wouldn't have held it, or keep telling you how marvelous she is! I also love you all for reading my blog and entering the competition so I wanted you all to have the opportunity to love her jewellery too!

Congrats on the winners!! Gem's post is definitely really interesting and I agree with a lot of it. Though you shouldn't have to have a disclaimer about your competition because it's clear that you're really genuine! Ahhh her jewellery is rather pretty. I may have to hop on over to her etsy store now...

I haven't read Gem's post yet but I just wanted to say, in general I'm not a fan of giveaways, and don't enter them either. I find that most of them are just ploys for PRs to get more advertising, and bloggers use them to get more followers. Some blogs host giveaways on a weekly basis (or even more often!) BUT I think this was your first giveaway (?) and it was for something really special, not just a piece of junk (like on a few other blogs...) I also think it's fine for bloggers to advertise things they really like, but constantly going on about random things they get in e-mails is just pimping yourself out to PRs! (Obviously I feel very strongly about this, sorry for the rant :P)

Oh yay!!! I haven't ever won a giveaway before :D Thanks Harriet! I saw Sarah wearing the necklace I chose at the Yummy Hair event and it's so pretty. Considering that at the moment I really can't afford to buy any treats for myself this is such a nice surprise :D xx

Congrats to the winners!

I think the occasional giveaway is fine, but I do think people can get too much into the PR/advertising headspace and just let it absorb them. Opinions are good! But thank you for defending my stuff - it's quite interesting being on both sides of the coin!
