A Photo An Hour...

Img_3751
9am Time to get dressed (yes, it's that dress!)

Img_3758
10am Arrive at Somerset House and meet Sherin in the Press Lounge for a natter.

Img_3762
11am A look around the exhibition, including a glimpse of Linda Farrow's Gaga Glasses!

Img_3795
12am A quick cake stop before meeting Suzie to head over to our first show of the day.

Img_3797
1pm A browse round the book shop

Img_3895
2pm About the only half decent photo I got of the shows I saw - this is Belle Sauvage

Img_3907
3pm I met Tamsin for lunch and we mooched around the exhibition again, and shared our love for French Sole

Img_3927
4pm After spending some time chatting with Lucy and Jen I headed home to hang up my press pass for the year

Img_3930
5pm And have a browse through all the random free magazines and leaflets I picked up!

This was Fashion Week for me. It was hectic and exhausting, but just amazing to be there, and to be surrounded by it all. I seem to have spent most of my day chatting to bloggers really, which suited me just fine! The shows I saw were Bernard Chandran and Belle Sauvage, which were both courtesy of Kristabel who couldn't go and kindly passed her tickets on to me.

I didn't get many decent photos of either of them unfortunately, but I'll be sharing some photos from Friday later in the week.

Oooh I really enjoyed this post - fab idea to do the hourly thing for lfw!

I've been saying to a lot of bloggers that although I'd love, love, love to go, i'd be really nervous about meeting lots of new people, and finding my way around! Was it your first lfw?

You're so lucky to have gone! I love that dress, it's you all over. & I had to double take at the photo of the cakes because at first glance, it looked like the set-up in Lush, hahah.

I hope to be attending LFW next year, when I'm living in and around London. It's something I've always wanted to do, but it's difficult given that I live in Ireland - oh well! I'm doing a behind-the-scenes post on Belfast Fashion Week in two weeks time...significantly less fabulous, but inspiring all the same. x

Ah lovely Harriet! Looks like you had a great time.
Belle Sauvage would've been an awesome show. I haven't seen any other pics of it but it looks surprisingly muted compared to their norm.
