A hint of pink...

a hint of pink
Clockwise from top left: pencilcase - Artbox, Socks - Tabio, Swedish Hasbeens - Urban Outfitters, blouse - topshop, hairclips - Dolly Dagger, purse - Vivienne Westwood at Urban Outfitters, Skirt - Asos, Dress - Orla Kiely

Surprisingly enough considering I'm quite a girly girl I've only quite recently entered into my pink phase! Most girls seem to get the obsession with pink over with between the ages of about four and nine but I seem to be just experiencing it now!

For years I've pretty much avoided the colour, but recently I've fallen in love with all things pink, nude and natural. I think a more dusty pink is a great way to make the colour a bit more grown up, and I would pretty much kill for the Orla Kiely dress above...!

What do you think? Are you pro or anti pink?

I always thought I wasn't a pink person but I do own a rather lot of florals with pink in and a couple of pale pink/nude coloured dresses so I guess I'm becoming more fond of the colour and I now want all of these beauts you've shared!!! That dress is amazing and those sandals! Yikes I want!!! x

I've been loving pink lately (though I don't actually own too many pink clothing items). This collage is sort of perfect, between those Swedish Hasbeens and that pleated ASOS skirt!

I'm loving pink right now too, I go through phases and right now I cannot get enough!

I did go through a pink phase as a kid, but now I'm back on it. I love the softer nude/pale pink going around at the moment as it works with my skin tone and hair and will be awesome with a tan too. Love your picks, and off to hunt that dress!

I'm the same as you - never used to be a huge fan on pink, but am definitely warming to it! Well, pastel pink anyway... hate hot pinks! x

I was anti-pink for a LONG TIME (not a girlie girl) but it has grown on me especially last season's pale shades. I definitely want that ASOS skirt too!

Pink is such a lovely colour. I never used to be a fan but I've come to embrace it over the last few years.

I love pink, especially the subtle kind, so much. I strayed away from it during me 'moody emo teen' stage, but love it more than ever now.
This is such a pretty collage: I love that dress!

People expect me to be anti-pink because of my personality, but I love it! I like Hello Kitty too.. lol

I'm still in the avoidance stage to be honest! I've never been that fond of it, but I'll never say no to a splash of pink lippy! x

Me too - had a very late return to pink in life! Want those Hasbeens! They cost a million in SA rands but one day! x

I always hated pink as a child because I was a bit of a tom boy but lately i've realized that it looks really good on me and have so decided that maybe I should give it a second chance...

these items are just enticing me more :)

That dress would look amazing on you! Since I gained lots of weight I only wear black, but one day I will wear colour again...

I agree with you. I grew up with a sister that was really into pink from a young age, and it made me hate that color. But as I grew up I fell in love with the softness of this color, and now I am in my pale pink phase too ^^ Lovely post by the way I like the pictures you chose

I pretty much abhorred pink the majority of my life. Probably in the last 2-3 years, I've begun to love it quite a lot. I don't wear pink well though, unless it's more of a deep magenta colour - pastels look very icky on me. Which is a real bummer as I quite like all of the dusty pinks that are popping up these days. I keep staring at them longingly and have to convince myself that they're a bad idea.
