PingPong

I'm sure I am much behind the times, having made my first ever trip to PingPong this weekend, but in case anyone else is as bad at popular culture as me, PingPong is a (relatively!) new Dim Sum chain which has opened up across London.

Being new to the Dim Sum world James and I both ordered the PingPong Collection and pretty much guessed our way through the dishes which were brought to the table (neither of us knew whether we were supposed to eat the leaf in the second to last picture or not!) but I can reliably inform you it was delicious! Not the leaf, I left that in the end, but the rolls especially were gorgeous, and the fried seaweed was so good.

I even managed the chopsticks, with photographic proof and everything!

That looks awesome. We don't get Dim Sum chains here in the depths of rural nowhere. Looks like something I may have to try out when I next get a chance to hit the city. Hope you enjoyed.

ive been meaning to go to pingpong for ages now cos I adore dim sum. when i was in hong kong i went to this incredible dim sum restaurant called city hall, the waitresses go about the room with trolleys of different dim sum and you pick and choose what you want, we even tried fried squid tentacles. canto food is definitely one of my faves, so yummy

Oh you made the right decision not to eat the leaf haha! Ping Pong was a strange experience for me seeing as it's presented very differently to what I'm used to but it was a fun experience. Also, Hannah's account of the Dim sum restaurant in HK is really traditional, there aren't many places around that serve dim sum like that anymore! Ah I'm feeling all nostalgic for HK now, bring on the Summer!

I've never been to PingPong! I feel so left out cause everyone seems to talk about it all the time. I've never had Dim Sum from anywhere, which my Chinese friends always take the piss about..
