Quite often when a brand offers to send me something I pick the sparkliest most ridiculously over the top item I can see, on the basis that it's a good idea to choose something I wouldn't ordinarily buy. Sometimes this works out, but othertimes I just end up with something I never actually wear.
I decided to be sensible this time around, and when the lovely people at TK Maxx offered to send me an item of clothing, I picked this gorgeous black Tommy Hilfiger dress.
It's quite plain and simple but it fits like a dream. I can already tell it is going to be the perfect thing to throw on in the morning before work when I can't be bothered to think too much, knowing I'll look good all day. A few times people have emailed me asking for advice on what to wear to work, and I would definitely say you can't go wrong with a knee length fitted black dress. I have three, and they are definitely some of my most worn pieces of clothing, so this is a welcome addition to the gang!

this should be titled The Pretty Dress of Perfection. Love it, simple dresses (in black or sometimes grey) are my go to for office and work wear also, I only wear trousers very occasionally, as I hate to have wet feet, and always seem to end up with wet feet when I do wear trousers.
