cami courtesy jan ahlgren, skirt courtesy clothing at tesco, shoes - bata, cardi - uniqlo, necklace and bracelet - vintage
Towards the end of last year Clothing at Tesco held their spring/summer press day, and although I couldn't go they very generously sent me their lookbook and a £30 gift voucher anyway. After seeing the beautiful lookbook I was determined to save the voucher until this skirt came into stock, and when it did I immediately ordered it.
I absolutely love the stripes - it reminds me of the Spring/Summer 2011 Prada collection, which I hated at the time but have totally warmed to. The only problem is my head is convinced that it's spring, and my body is saying 'woman - go put your tights back on!' brrr!

I love this skirt, the stripes are fab and I never would've guessed it was from Tesco.
Hope you weren't too cold taking these pictures, it's freezing out there! x
Very, very sultry look Harriet! I adore the cami and the skirt is so bold and pretty.
I love that top, Harriet!!!
Such a gorgeous outfit, would not have guessed it was from Tesco! Love the shoes as well xx

It was worth the wait - it looks really good! I lvoe the colour.
I know what you mean about the season... I keep looking at the bright sunny days and wondering my I'm still wearing three or four layers! Bring on the warm weather!
the skirt really is lovely. great ensemble.
I love those heels! I love the tiny little platform on them! They go really well with that skirt!

Gorgeous outfit, this skirt is stunning on you. I know how you feel, wish spring would hurry up!
This is absolutely gorgeous! The cami with the stripe skirt is very chic. Love it! x
that skirt looks phenomenal on you!
Really love the skirt. It's such a vibrant blue, which really suits you!
This skirt looks so gorgeous on you, it shows off your tiny waistline and fits like a dream xxx
Good grief, woman, put a coat on! It's making me chilly just looking at you! Coincidentally, I too wore a vest today, but it was of the thermal, rather than camisole, variety! You look lovely, and I definitely agree with you on the longing-for-Spring front!
You look FANTASTIC and so darned elegant! Definitely one of my favourite ever outfits from you!

How did you manage to take these photos in the current freezing conditions, Harriet??!? Anyhow, the skirt is really lovely - I'm often wary of stripes - but it looks great on you! xoxo
You always make everything look fabulous - and i love that cardi, i had my eye on a similar one, but im not familiar with their sizing.
There's a sort of 'country' elegance to this.....you almost seem to belong to another time....i mean this in a good way of course!
lovely outfit and a very nice blog! I'll check here more often!

Oh, thank goodness! I was going to say, maaan, England is warm/I need to move there! ;)
I too was finding the Prada-inspired stripes a bit tired, but I really really like this skirt of yours! Plus it looks lovely on you. :)
xo.
I am in love with this outfit. You look stunning!
You look gorgeous in this outfit! Love the sort of blousy top with the figure-hugging skirt. I always think skirts like this will be unflattering when I see them in the store (like the stripes would make one look wide in the hips or be too tight and show every imperfection) but this skirt truly looks fabulous on you! :)
i like the skirt, but love that shirt! xx Alice Barton ♥ The Mow Way
So gorgeous. You did right to wait for it.
cute cute ~ i am in love with your skirt!
Ah-maze-ing skirt? I think so. :)

You look gorgeous, your waist is tiny! ox
I really like this skirt, great pick, although yes, I think you're possibly losing the plot, daring to brave the outdoors without tights and without sleeves.... I'm watching the snow come down outside my window and I haven't left the house in less than 3 layers for a LONG time!
Love this skirt - great color!
HArriet you look so sexy and perfect for the spring time, I too am longing for the warmer months! Your hair is looking great too! Love it long! x
oh harriet, you look amazing! the skirt looks absolutely beautiful on you, it's just perfect for your figure - look at your teeny tiny waist!
i've been wanting to find the perfect fitted pencil skirt for myself, possibly in black or grey, but i've always thought they'd look a little unflattering on me as i'm not used to body con clothes. after seeing how you've styled yours up i'm definitely going to have to give it a go!
xx
Such a lovely skirt! I like the royal blue and black :0
