On Saturday Reda took me out for Brunch to Giant Robot on Clerkenwell street. From the photos it probably looks like we were having brunch at nine o'clock at night but don't worry we aren't that crazy - it was just the mood lighting!

My main problem with brunch is that I think I'm slightly too impatient for it. I wake up relatively early and the thought of waiting until 11 or so to eat is just too much, but once I've had breakfast I'm not hungry enough for brunch too.

I held my hunger at bay however and it was so worth it! Reda ate the veggie breakfast and I had a giant hash brown with pancetta, poached egg and lots of spinach! Washed down with coffee it was perfect, and kept we well fed until afternoon tea o'clock!

Are you a brunch fan? What are your top recommendations for brunching? Either to eat out or cook at home - I've decided I need more brunch in my life!

They look so yummy! I love brunch, such an excuse to eat more than your average breakfast! But I can definitley handle breakfast brunch and lunch .. not to mention afternoon tea and dinner. Food is my best friend in life, unfortunatley.~ ox

Well, now I'm hungry... I love brunch - when I was visiting family in Florida it was a huge thing at the weekends. Now, mostly 'cause I like sleeping, I have a late breakfast at the weekends - if I add some Sunday papers and a glass of OJ then it's brunch! x

This place looks amazing. I'm a massive brunch fan. I tend to have breakfast, then have brunch at midday instead! Best of both worlds!

I'm with you in that I can't wait that long to eat, so I only like brunch every now and then on days when I sleep late. I love brunch type food, though, and would eat it any time of day. Your plate looks delicious!:)

Oh I love brunch! And the hash browns look just delicious. (I'd recommend The Diner too, they make excellent breakfast.) I like to prepare the brunch myself if I have company but there's something fun and relaxing about eating out and not dealing with all the dirty dishes afterwards!

That looks so delicious. I would love to be able to have brunch but none of my family would ever hang on that long to eat in the morning, we are usually up at 6!
