I probably buy a couple of magazines a month, though apart from my subscription to Practical Photography it very much depends who's on the cover and what the free gift is as to which fashion magazine I buy. This month it was Vogue and I was not disappointed. These is a stunning photoshoot with Sienna Miller (featuring live birds! it's amazing!) and way too many beautiful clothes to lust over. I haven't been very excited about any of the spring fashions so far this year, but I think this may have been the magazine to make me change my mind!
I always feel like a bit of a fraud with my issues of Practical Photography magazine - I am nowhere near their standard at all and I don't work at it nearly as hard as I should. But the magazine makes me want to be a better photographer, and it's so inspiring I would definitely recommend you try out a copy if you are looking for something to help you with your photography skills, or give you ideas for new techniques. It's relatively easy to understand what they are talking about too, so I don't feel too much like a novice when I read it!
Are you a regular magazine purchaser? Are you loyal to one mag or are you a bit promiscuous?!
