This post started off as a photography exercise really. I was shamelessly inspired by Carrie's jewellery box post and I wanted to practice taking photos of objects, and creating arrangements to photograph. Jewellery seemed like a good place to start because 1. it's pretty and 2. I have lots of it! I wanted to really take my time selecting items to photograph that worked together, laying them out on a backdrop (which is actually this top) and taking as many photographs as it took to get the shots just right. I'm not saying these photos are perfect but I am pretty happy with the results!
I have a lot of jewellery collected over the years from second hand stalls, high street shops and pretty boutiques, and following on from my quest to wear more of it this is what I have been wearing recently. Something about the lovely spring weather we've had recently lends itself to delicate gold pieces with the odd fun plastic bit thrown in. These are some of my more girly pieces of jewellery, and that's probably a pretty good assessment of what I am wearing right now - a lot of pink, pastels and frothy girlyness!
