College Girl

shirt - fred perry, skirt - vintage, bracelet - hobbs, boots - schuh

This is an outfit I wore to college last week. I've just come to the end of a three week stint in college, so it's back to work and suits these days! I don't mind dressing for work - in fact I quite enjoy suiting up, but it is nice to have a few weeks making the most of my wardrobe. Considering I am at work 5/7ths of the time I own way more weekend clothes than weekday clothes!

My chambray shirt is perfect for college though - it's so easy to wear, and stops my outfit looking too dressy - always a risk when I get over excited about getting to wear whatever I want! I try not to dress ridiculously over the top, but at the same time I love any opportunity to dress up, regardless of location, so I am certainly not going to let one pass me by just because it's college!

Do you dress up, or are you more of a casual chic sort of a person?

NB I wish I could pull off casual chic, oh how I wish! I look so blah though, it doesn't work for me at all!

Love this look. I start my first proper office job at the end of August and I am ridiculously excited to shop for it (yes I am that lame)

The perfect combination of preppy and laissez-faire! I'm a sad lazy dresser - although I keep being tempted by leather skirts. xoxo

I'm definitely a dress up person! I can't pull of casual at ALL. I don't feel myself if I attempt it! I wish I could do casual chic well though, sometimes I think I overdress ...

I'm not sure I do pull of casual chic, but it's pretty much my uniform as I don't have to be be particularly smart at work, well not at all really.

Loving the chambray with the leather, and I bet you blow everyone out of the water at college by being just as fabulously dressed as smart.

The shirt looks fantastic with the leather skirt - never thought it would look this good! I wish I could dress up everyday but spending most of my time in an office with no more than 5 other people kinda puts me off. Besides, my wardrobe is miles away from the actual wardrobe I'm lusting after - so my dressing up days are still in the future lol. I'm never sloppy though. x
