The people at Glossybox were kind enough to send me a free box this month - their Natural box featuring all natural products and a biodegradable box. I ended up cancelling my subscription to Glossybox a couple of months ago because although I enjoyed it I just wasn't getting enough use out of the products and they ended up sitting in my bathroom for ages not getting used while I stuck to my old favourites. I love the rose scented lipbalm in this month's box though -it smells so nice and will definitely be going into my handbag for regular use!

I also bought the Mabelline 24 hour colour tattoo eyeshadow because a. I'm a sucker for anything that gets rave reviews on the makeup blogs I read and b. I am so lazy when it comes to makeup I will buy anything which promises I will not have to reapply too often! I ended up getting the permanent taupe colour, which was all that was left in the superdrug I went in, apart from a really skuzzy looking gold. The first time I tried it I used my fingers because I don't own an eyeshadow brush and quickly realised that wasn't going to work as I ended up looking like I'd been punched in both eyes... A £4 topshop eyeshadow brush later and I tried again - with more successful results! I have very sunken eyes so I find most eye makeup comes off really quickly, and although I would say 24 hour is an overstatement for me I definitely saw an improvement with this product compared to many I've tried in the past. The colour is nice, and although I need to work on my application techniques (must learn to blend!) I was very happy with the overall effect.

What are your favourite makeup purchases lately?

I have become addicted to the brand Kiko Milano (funny because my boyfriend's name is Kiko, so most of my makeup has his name). I recently bought blush in stick, invisible powder for the finishing touch. Plus I love they have a great range of lipstick and nail polish colors. Yesterday I bought primer, color corrector for redness and two matte lipsticks one in wine and the other in deep red, all for 24euros :) As you can see I'm obsessed with makeup but I'm just unable to use eye shadow, I don't know how to apply it, which one would suit me, etc. Love how this one looks on you :)

I loved this months glossybox too. Looks like we got different products, but the lip balm looks great.
And the maybelline eye shadow looks great too.
I'm loveing Urban Decay's face primer right now.

The eyeshadow is beautiful, looking awesome. I just bought false eyelashes for the first time in my life, and I'm actually rather loving them, wish I'd worked them out sooner.

Ooooh, I ordered that lip salve from Zalando and I think it's great. Maybe not as effective ultimately as Carmex but the cute packaging and nice flavour makes up for it. xx

That shade looks so nice and versatile. It brings out the pretty color of your eyes. I've heard mixed reviews about the color tattoo shadows, but the colors always look nice to me!
