Beauty Wishlist

makeup wishlist

Recently I've become a bit of a beauty obsessive. Make up and beauty videos on youtube are my main vice (Lily and Kate are my favourites!) and have taught me about all sorts of brands and products I had no idea existed (let alone what they were for!) but that I obviously now need in my life.

1. Essie's new diffusion line of nail polishes are currently on pretty much every beauty blog ever, and I really love the colour of Deco Tarte - it looks like such a nice coral colour.
2. I have one Real Technique brush (the stippling brush) which just works so well, I think I am going to eventually have to splash out on the core collection. I just love how good they make my foundation look, and I love the online tutorial videos for each brush as well.
3. One brand that gets really good reviews all the time is Liz Earle. I recently bought the Cleanse and Polish cleanser and I've definitely not been disappointed. It has a great clean smell, and really makes my face feel clean and makeup free after using it but without feeling dry and tight. It really makes me look forward to taking my make up off - which is kind of ridiculous but true! I really want to try the rest of the collection now - and this face mask seems like a good place to start.
4. Tweezerman tweezers are so much more exciting than regular tweezers, and my brows could do with some assistance right now!
5. I looove the topshop blusher I already have (Head over Heels) which is a lovely peach-coral colour, but I'm in the mood for something a bit more pink and English Rose-y. I think Prime Time could be the one!

What's on your wishlist at the moment?

I've used Liz Earle before, and I know what you mean about looking forward to washing your face! Makes me feel v virtuous.

That Essie polish is lovely but I agree that it has become a bot of a blogger cliche, haha!

Love that nail colour! And the tweezers. I know they are just tweezers but they are so cute!

I have a pair on mini bright pink Tweezermans - couldn't recommend them highly enough. Worth every penny!

I'm desperate to try the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish, and as soon as my current cleanser runs out I'll be doing just that. On my wish list at the moment is anything by Creme de la Mer. I would just love to try it. However,I'm pretty sure it'll forever remain on my wish list and never actually be in the bathroom cabinet.

I haven't got any of the Real Techniques brushes yet but everyone seems to rave about them, think I'll have to invest in some (or all!) of them soon.
Tweezerman tweezers are the best, couldn't live without mine!

I'm wearing Tart Deco right now - it's gorgeous. I'd love to get my hands on Eve Lom Rescue mask and a Clarisonic cleanser, I just can't justify the cost but I've wanted one for ages!

Sadly the Essie coral colour looks really weird on me... too salmon :(
I think my favourite cleanser ever is Eve Lom's, and I'm quite addicted to Ole Henriksen products, ah yes, and anything from Aesop, especially the Geranium cream... Plus, I definitely must refrain from watching beauty videos - otherwise I will have NO life left. xoxo

The Liz Earle toner is really good too - it isn't full of alcohol so it doesn't sting but is so refreshing. I love it that they give you mini freebies on online orders :D the mask sounds nice too.

I can't help but love Essie too, that coral colour is so pretty and good tweezers make all the difference (even better when they're purple and polka dotty like the Tweezermans!)

Beauty videos are weirdly addictive, aren't they?? Hours of my life strangely sucked away. My liz Earle cleanser is about the only that can persuade me to take my makeup off when I've had too much to drink, it is just so pleasant! I love the smell. Her tinted moisturiser is great too, really good colours for English skins. You should have a look, what with being an English rose. X
