Workwear

blouse courtesy tesco, skirt - zara, necklace - vintage, shoes - bata

With being in college a lot at recently I haven't posted a work outfit in a while, but now I'm back into the old office mode, and I got this Zara skirt out again after not wearing it for a while and remembered how much I liked it. I have an obsession with finding skirts with fitted waists that fit exactly - I hate it when they are baggy! I am quite large-hipped so it's always a case of sizing up and finding it doesn't fit on the waist or sizing down and having to wriggle into my clothes with the very real potential of getting stuck! Thankfully that hasn't happened yet...

This skirt is of the wriggle variety, but once on it is perfect so I don't mind too much, unless I want a big lunch! I wore it with my tesco blouse which I just love. It doesn't get crumpled easily which is my main requirement for workwear, and I realise I say this about practically everything I have from Tesco so it's a bit of a moot point - but I really don't think it looks like it's from Tesco!

I agree, I always need skirts that fit my waist perfectly otherwise I'm just not comfortable enough! This skirt is lovely, is it really from Tesco? Why isn't there a clothing Tesco by me! All in all, fabulous outfit, I wish I could get away wearing this to my work!

Damn I just realised the skirt is actually from Zara and the shirt is from Tesco! Rookie error! Regardless still both lovely anyway! :)

That's a great work look. I like it when you can create a work look that's smart, but not too corporate. You've captured it perfectly with this!

Is the Tesco blouse a recent acquisition? It's gorgeous, the sleeve length is perfect for work - I have to be 'bare below the elbow' but am very conscious of my upper arms! Lovely outfit!

Love this outfit, that skirts is gorgeous!
I have the same problem, I have a small waist, but my hips/thighs are quite a bit bigger, so finding something that properly fits is rare! x

This is really lovely, the tucked in top creates a wonderful silhouette. My favourite skirt style too - although I have the opposite problem for when they fit my waist they're too big everywhere else! I prefer those full skirts with wide flat waistbands so that it creates the illusion of a longer torso, or at least a more defined waist for me.

That outfit is lovely - I recently bought a blouse from Tesco and feel the same - you really wouldn't think it was 'supermarket' to look at it : )

Loving the skirt and blouse combo, it's a really nice colour way and the skirt looks like fab shape and with some decent length in it too- I can't seem to find a skirt that isn't super slim fitting that is actually long enough for office wear....
