Panache Lingerie

Panache very kindly sent me one of their lingerie sets recently - in the new Cleo style which I just love. It's a gorgeous slightly pin-up style and comes in some bright patterns (this is the Darcy Heart version), which always makes me feel good, and I think it's so well designed to support a larger bust.

I have always been larger-than-average in the boob department, and I remember the massive embarassment which came of being the first girl in the class who had to wear a bra rather than a crop top. It was honestly mortifying. In those days there were very few options for me, and it always felt like the only bras available in my size were the ones designed for grannies! All I wanted was something pretty.

It definitely dented my confidence when I was a teenager, even though the only time anyone ever saw my bra was in the PE changing rooms.

I am so pleased the options have dramatically increased since then though, and now I can almost always find pretty underwear when I go shopping. This may or may not have contributed to the fact that I own rather a lot of it - I am a bit of a magpie when it comes to nice pants! Panache's website is definitely being bookmarked for later...

Nice! I love the pattern :) I'm a bit of a bra hoarder too! It is so good to be able to find nice bras for a bigger bust nowadays

What an usual design, I like the fact that it is feminine without being overly girly. The hearts almost look like shells at first glance. It's so great when you find something that works for your particular body shape.Off to check them out, thanks for flagging them up,I may need some disreet padding! :) xx

So pretty! And I know just what you mean about the mortifying process of getting boobs, not that I have that much, but they came early and seemingly overnight. It was pretty devastating. I was a ballet dancer, which just made it worse because there's no hiding anything when you spend your life in leotards. :(

I understand you so well about the larger bust section. And not every strap will do even the bra is pretty because when they don't support well, it's just painful to constantly fix yourself every other 5 minutes. I loved this set! It reminded me of your lipstick dress, it must be the colours. xx

Ooh, that set looks great! I find it difficult to find decent styles too - I went into La Senza the other day and was looking around but couldn't find anything in my size - turns out they're only stocking cups up to DD until the new year... rubbish!
