dress courtesy zalando, boots - schuh, scarf - borrowed from james, cardi - very old topshop

Our latest take10 project saw us working with Zalando again, and in particular their Zalando Collection. This dress isn't my usual style, as I rarely wear anything without a defined waist, or in such a bright colour - but I was feeling in an experimental mood the day I chose it, and I think it worked out well!

It's quite a grown up style I think, and could look a bit summery too - so I teamed it with boots and a slouchy cardigan to make it look a bit more autumnal and young, and stole James' scarf to go with it!

It's quite grown up. I agree. On the other hand it's good to experiment.

I think it looks so cool on you! It's quite art-school and the simplicity of the shape allows the bold pattern to really shine. I especially love the berry lip colour with it. Nice pick!

This is so not what I think as of "Harriet style" but it looks great on you. I really like it!

Well I think it looks fab! The pop of red lippy really finishes it off too. I'm really rather tempted by this dress...

This dress looks like it would be so versatile, summery with the bright colours but equally as nice styled as a more wintery look as you have done here. It wouldn't be an obvious choice but you've made it look so nice.

I think you picked the perfect location to photograph this dress in - it makes it a bit more funky/urban. <3

yes, things without a waist can be hard! It looks good though, and you could create a waist with a belt! I do love the yellow!

You look wonderful in the dress! Sometimes experimenting works and in this case it definitely did. The colours look great on you. xx

Yellow and grey really works, I would not have thought to put those colours together. I think that the boots make this look more youthful as well, adding a bit of a punk edge! But a well tailored punk :). x

What an awesome shirt dress! It's definitely outside of your style comfort zone but I think you pulled it off nicely keeping everything else monochromatic to give the pop of color a statement :)
