Warehouse Dress

dress courtesy warehouse, cardi - h&m, belt - vintage, tights - m&s, shoes courtesy clarks

This warehouse dress arrived in the post today and I put it on pretty much straight away (well, I showered first since the postman rang when I was still in bed!) I ditched the belt which came with it (does anyone actually wear them?!) and swapped it for a vintage one, although I don't think the dress actually needs a belt at all as it's a beautifully flattering shape.

I can see this becoming a bit of a winter work staple as it is just right for the office, and I always find it difficult to shop for nice, suitable work clothes.

This is really pretty, I love how you've styled it (I don't use the belt that come with either). So nice to see florals worn in November

LOVE this dress, it's a beautiful colour set, and somehow doesn't seem too over-girly despite the flowers and palette.

I am feeling your work wear pain. I have all of a sudden realised I have practically nothing suitable for a proper office job, and no money either.

Love the dress. The colours make me think of Autumn, unlike so many summery floral prints. And it doesn't NEED a belt, the shape is fabulous and so so flattering on you :) x

This dress totally jumped out at me from Warehouse's offerings this season - the colours in the print are so pretty and the shape is fantastic. It's a bit too soft a colour palette for someone with darker skin like me though, but it looks absolutely beautiful on you!

I love the way you have styled it too. Totally agree about the belts - I've ditched so many and it seems like such a waste - or should that be waist? Sorry, ahem.

It's definitely a gorgeous dress. I love how transitional it is: you could wear it in either summer or winter.

LOVE this dress, such a gorgeous print and colour, I need some new work clothes and this looks perfect. I do keep the belts from dresses but tend to use them on something else!

I loved the look overall. The dress looks so good on you and I think the belt looks very complete with the shoes <3

you mean does anyone use the belt that it came with? it's a real annoyance of mine stuff like that, items coming with stuff, telling you how to wear it. pre rolled sleeves, stitched up button holes and do you remember those cardigans with shirts attached? terrible.

nice choice for a winter staple

I often think that about those belts - I wonder if the prices would be slightly cheaper if all retailers just agreed to stop making them!!

I don't like the belts that come with dresses, either. Your belt looks much nicer!
