Some Questions

Apologies, I have been sick with a cold recently, and while I'm not dying I've mainly been sleeping in what would have been my blogging time. So here is a list borrowed from Sandra's blog in place of a proper new post.

if you could choose your own super power, what would it be?
Flying. Definitely. I watched a lot of The New Adventures of Superman as a child.

if you had 100 000 dollars to spend in one day, what would you spend it on?
Ignoring the usual give to charity etc etc, I'd probably buy a dress from Ulyana Sergeenko's Autumn 2011 Collection and go on holiday.

if you could live in any decade, which would you choose?
Probably 1910-1920. The Edwardians seemed like fun people.

what does your dream apartment look like?
I've always wanted to live in a boathouse. Right out on the river somewhere with a deck over the water. It would be all white, with 1950s furniture and I'd row my dinghy to the shops.

what made you scared as a child?
Spiders, and the sinking of the Titanic. I was absolutely terrified of drowning in my bed, at the top of a 3 storey building...

are there any movie characters you see yourself in?
I always see myself in the slightly exasperated sidekick type - like Zazu in The Lion King maybe, or Coggsworth in Beauty and the Beast! Yes I mianly see myself in Disney characters...

if you could make your own fantasy family, who would it include?
I like my family pretty much as it is, but if I did have a weird celebrity other family I'd want Meryl Streep to be my mum, Alan Rickman to be my dad, Sofia Coppola to be my cool older sister and Rupert Grint would be my weird younger brother.

three things you want to do before it’s too late?
1. Live abroad for a time. 2. Renovate an old house 3.  Learn to sing

how do you think your summer will be?
I am so looking forward to it!  This is my first summer without exams pretty much since I was 11 (I'm nearly 26!). The British summer is so fleeting that you have to be prepared to take advantage of it whenever it comes, and that usually ends up being right in the middle of revision, but not this year! I am going to be so ready for sunshine!

who do you tell your secrets to?
Just about anyone! I am terrible at keeping secrets and a dreadful gossip and sharer of stuff. Seriously, if you want something kept secret don't ever tell me. I'm a walking blabbermouth.

Hope you're feeling better now! The boathouse sounds lovely but I'm so lazy that if I had to row everywhere I'd never leave home!

Such a lovely post Harriet, it's nice to find out more about you! Your fantasy family sounds amazing, can I be a long lost cousin and come round at Christmas? Rickman has a voice of velvet! xxx

This is a great post - it's interesting to get to know a few quirky things about you! GREAT choice of celebrity family (Alan Rickman and Rupert Grint oh how I love them both!) Also your dream apartment sounds like good times. I hope you're feeling better really soon!

Oh, hope you feel better soon - I'm nursing a cold at the moment and feel utterly rubbish! Good call on the imaginary celebrity family - I'd add Ian McKelen to that list in the role of awesome granddad : ) x

I hope you're feeling better! I like the idea of you rowing your dinghy to the shops. :)

This is a really good list. Someone tagged me the other day in a similar-type post, but maybe I'll use a few of these questions instead. xoxo

This was so fun to read :D I love little questions like this that pull random bits of information out of people that may have never come out in a blog post otherwise :D
I will hopefully be living in the early 1900s with you in a Ulyana dress... ;)
