I am generally pretty rubbish at hair, but I bought one of those hair donut things last weekend, and I'm pretty excited about being able to create a perfect messy donut bun! It's so easy even I can manage it, plus it's improving my posture too, as you can't slump down in your hair when you have a giant bun on the back of your head! So win-win!

I like that it's an understated messy bun, rather than a look at my perfect hair-doughnut.
I have one of these and it always takes a good 10 minutes to style it, but it's worth it : )

Your messy one looks great, but if you want to try a sleek one for evening, I learned how to do it from tutorials on YouTube. You have to roll it up from the bottom of your ponytail, so the ends are tucked in. It's much easier than it looks!
The bun suits you so well. Where did you get the doughnut thing from? I have one but I think it's too big.

Your hair looks great. I have one of those donuts in my draw from years ago when I was a bridesmaid but I had only really considered using it for formal hair styles. I am definitely going to give this a try.
