Favourite Free Fonts

favourite-free-fonts

I have become quite obsessed with fonts lately, and adding them to pictures and generally using them about my blog. I am always a bit scared about overdoing it with fonts - I have no real eye for design so I just sort of stumble around and hope I manage to pair fonts and pictures that work ok!

My favourite of these at the moment is probably the first one - thin lines and curves. You'll see it everywhere on my blog! Making this post definitely reminded me to experiment more though, and try out some others, though at the same time I want to try and keep a cohesive look. Argh, it's so hard! I feel like I need to take a short course in design or something because I really struggle getting things to look like they do in my head!

Oh well, while I go and have a blogging crisis, enjoy my favourite free fonts. If you have any you love which you want to share (I know some people are quite protective of their fonts!) please do leave a link in the comments.

Great post! Sometimes I forever wondering what fonts people are using as they look so pretty although I can understand them not wanting everyone to use the same. I use learning curve it's my favourite!

This is amazing. I'm pinning it (my preferred bookmarking method). I quite like Raleway -http://www.theleagueofmoveabletype.com/raleway / others from The League of Movable Type.

I've always wanted to design a font and have been thinking about it a lot lately, so this post is very timely! #4 is def my favorite here :)

I love fonts - I used to pour over font books in the art room at school. I find Pinterest particularly good for finding new ones, a couple of which are here: http://pinterest.com/shipshapebf/art-craft-stitch-draw/
