Last week I was challenged by Laura Ashley to style this cream lace top for the Laura Ashley blog. Along with fellow bloggers Paula and Natasha we each styled it a different way.

I went for my usual weekend look - top, cardi and skirt - complete with sunglasses for the first time since last year! I really like the top - it's already been worn at the weekend and to work. Most of the time my wardrobe is split rigidly down the middle, so it's nice to have a few things that can cross over.

The only thing I find slightly annoying is it is dry clean only, which is always somewhat problematic as I am cheap and absolutely hate shelling out for the drycleaners all the time. But I think a bit of fabreezing will stop me having to make that trip too often, and I haven't managed to spill anything on it yet, so go me!

I sometimes hand wash items that are technically dry clean only...it just depends on the fabric whether you can get away with that or not. It does look very pretty though. And I love that cardi with the contrast edging. :)

That is one very lovely top and the way you styled it is so cute! I love how your outfit feels slightly nautical for the warmer weather :)

Love this outfit. I try to avoid dry clean only items but unless it's something extra special I put them in the machine on the "handwash" setting and nothing has been ruined so far! x

I know exactly what you mean about having to dry clean.....I would rather just not..

You look lovely! I love the whole outfit - those shoes are fab. I know what you mean about dry clean only things. Sometimes...I'm a bit naughty and try and handwash them anyway, but I know that will probably go wrong for me one day!

I've been exploring for a little bit for any high quality articles or weblog posts in this kind of house . Exploring in Yahoo I ultimately stumbled upon this site. Studying this information So i'm happy to convey
that I've a very just right uncanny feeling I found out just what I needed. I most no doubt will make certain to do not put out of your mind this web site and give it a look on a relentless basis.

Warner doesnt think Pats cheated in Super Bowl, unless he does

The following is a quote from Superbowl winning coach Jimmy Johnson:
This is exactly how I was told to do it 18 years ago by a Kansas City Chiefs scout. I tried it, but I didn t think it helped us. Bill Belichick was wrong because he videotaped signals after a memo was sent out to all teams saying not to do it. But what irritates me is hearing some reactions from players and coaches.
These players don t know what their coaches are doing, and some of the coaches have selective amnesia because I know for a fact there were various teams doing this. That s why the memo was sent to everybody. That doesn t make Belichick right, but a lot of teams are doing this.
That quote says a lot about the videotaping, especially where Johnson says, I tried it, but I didn t think it helped us. People don t seem to understand that this was common practice amongst all teams, not just the Patriots.
Belichick and the Patriots got in trouble because the league requested that the practice be stopped. However, Belichick interpreted the new rule incorrectly. Belichick believed the taping was legal as long as the tape wasn t used during the same game. Below is an explanation of the taping rule:
No video recording devices of any kind are permitted to be in use in the coaches booth, on the field, or in the locker room during the game. All video shooting locations must be enclosed on all sides with a roof overhead. Any use by any club at any time, from the start to the finish of any game in which such club is a participant, of any communications or information-gathering equipment, other than Polaroid-type cameras or field telephones, shall be prohibited, including without limitation videotape machines, telephone tapping, or bugging devices, or any other form of electronic devices that might aid a team during the playing of a game.
In other words it s STILL TO THIS DAY LEGAL to tape opponents signals you just can t do it from the coaches box or sidelines.
But to those great NFL fans who want to actually reach out and do some research, educate themselves, aren t ignorant enough to believe that something that was being done by everyone and I guarantee is still going on today had any effect on the Patriots successes, we New England fans thank you.
Despite testimonials from Roger Goodell, Dan Rooney, Jimmy Johnson, Matt Walsh, the New England Patriots and the retraction from the Boston Herald, those of you who chose to think the Pats didnt win fair and square you are ignorant f s. But leave nike air max 90 it to some fans to think they know more about the game and what went on behind the scenes than people who were actually involved.
Haters will always hate!
Kiss my tainted rings ignorant fans!

WOW! This is so pretty and totally my style. The top and cardigan are stunning, as are the shoes. Everything about your look is beautiful. (can totally relate to the issue of dry clean only btw)

dry clean only, that's a bit sucky. not even hand wash? I'm sure there's ways around it. I don't mind it on jackets but anything else is a bit of a hassle.

Looks top notch, bet it feels good to get the sunnies back on.

What a nice challenge! It's such a pretty blouse but I'm with you...how annoying that it's dry clean only. I think manufactures and retailers are getting more and more wary and get so many complaints that they're covering themselves. It's a shame as it puts many people off making purchases.

Super cute blouse! Definitely looks like something you can dress up or down. I hate dry cleaning too lol

Cute outfit. Loving the shoes. The only thing I own from Laura Ashley is my bridesmaid dress, it just not a shop I think about going into and we have a shiny new big store in my home town too! I say new, it's probably been there for about 3 years hehe
