My Sunday

Here is my Sunday in photos. It started with porridge, fruit and honey. The deal was I made the coffee in the morning and James made breakfast. Then I couldn't get the new pack of coffee open so he had to make that too... So I think I won breakfast all in all!

ready to go

Got ready to go out - scarf is from the Orla Kiely for Uniqlo collection, coat is Asos.

lunch 2

Met Reda and went on a very long train journey to Battersea! By the time we got there we were starving so we found a random little Italien cafe and had lunch. I had an amazing pastrami and cheese panini, with bread so crusty it grazed the roof of my mouth - amazing!

Then we went and explored Battersea carboot. It's been recommended by so many bloggers that I had to see for myself, and it did not disappoint! The sun was shining and it was ever so busy but I got some lovely things.

battersea park

We walked back through Battersea park to catch the bus, and nearly got soaked by a wet dog which had just got out of the pond!

Went home to display my purchases! I got two records, a pot which once contained Stilton but was thankfully cheese free by the time I bought it(!) and a really cute red vanity bag. Total spend £11 including the 50p entry fee - not bad I don't think. The bag was the most expensive item at £8, the records were £1 each and the pot was 50p.

I discovered James had bought the papers, so spent the rest of the afternoon reading on the sofa. Style magazine first, obviously.

Finally cooked a very orange dinner! Omelet with sweet potato, halloumi and chorizo in it, with red pepper and salsa on the side.

All in all a pretty good Sunday!

Saturday morning I woke up to find out my boyfriend making pancakes. It was such a nice surprise. They were so good that he decided to make them on Sunday too :)

A lovely Sunday indeed! I'd say you did pretty well at the sale. I love to go on little mini adventures on Sundays, and if you can come home with new treasures, all the better!

What an eventful day! You look glowing in your picture - very pretty :D. I haven't heard of this car boot sale, but I'm still learning a lot - thanks for bringing it to my attention. :)

I'm a little jealous of your porridge, it looks so good! Also love the little red vanity case. I saw a similar blue one in a second hand shop a couple of months ago and I'm still kicking myself that I didn't buy it!

Great car boot finds! I've been stopping by my local carboot every Sunday for the last few weeks, it's addictive!

The porridge looks like the most delicous breaky. I love your carboot finds and you have definitely inspired me to go carbooting, perhaps this weekend!
