Farmers Market

I never go to my local farmer's market as often as I should. Luckily its always buzzing when I do go, so there doesn't seem too much risk of it closing down due to my neglect! I really love looking at all the wares on display - the bread is so scrumptious (there's a stall that does the most amazing focaccia), and the vegetables are so much more reasonably priced than the supermarket, which always surprises me as I would expect the supermarket to be the cheaper. I guess you are always getting the in season crops at the market, so that helps lower the price as there are no air miles involved.

I do have to get used to accepting my produce won't look as attractive as in the shops, but it tastes even better. I also love trying all the juices and cheeses on display as well, and the samples almost always persuades me to buy! This time I only picked up some vegetables for the week, but I will be back for another round of Bath soft cheese next week for sure.

Things always taste so much better from a market. We have a fresh fruit and veg stall near where I work and it's so tasty! Much better than tesco.

I used to go to the Farmers Market every weekend when I was living in France and it was amazing everything tasted so much better than it did in the shops. I'm trying to find one in Cardiff now but it's always really early on Sunday morning and it's hard to wrestle myself out of bed

I love farmers markets, I wish there was more of them here in Sweden!

That bread looks so good!
I also don't go to farmer's markets as much as I'd like, but that's probably because they are all but finished by midday, and getting out the house before then on a Sunday is a big ask :)

I hardly ever go to farmers' markets because I'm so lazy on weekend mornings and always want to sleep in. Peter and I keep talking about going though so maybe this post will inspire me! After all, I guess that's why naps were invented. :)
Also, lovely photos!
