It was a tad windy when I took these photos, so excuse the blown away look, particularly the hair, argh! This is an outfit I wore at work to run a training course the other week. I've grown to quite like teaching and training as I've gotten more used to it, but I still always get nervous standing in front of a crowd. Knowing I'm dressed in an outfit I love, and feel comfortable and smart in always helps though!

I got some tough questions from the audience, which definitely threw me (but at least they were interacting rather than playing on their phones I guess!)  but four separate people came up to me afterwards and told me I handled the questions really well (and that if I wanted the question asker beaten up they could take him outside!) so that was nice at least!

Oh gosh, I have to run courses quite often and despite being quite confident in other areas, I always seem to be nervous. Well done, as it sounds as though you must have done a really good job! :)

Ah the power of a good outfit should never be underestimated! they've got me through some meetings and situations I've been dreading!
Sounds like your course went really well, I'd hate to have to stand in front of a room and teach - eek!

Were they questions you didn't anticipate at all then? Sounds like you had it covered.

I must say your work uniform is pretty sweet, much nicer than the tight shirts and skirts i have in my head.

Sounds like you did a great job. Always good to get some feedback and the fact that people asked questions shows that they were listening and engaged. Love that dress!

Aw well done for fielding the questions well! It can be daunting being up infront of a crowd but once you get past the scary bit, it can get quite exhilarating! Still loving your classic style, girl :)

Ahh, the wind has been a bit insane recently hasn't it?

I still get so nervous speaking to a big group! Well done for running a course. Love this outfit, the dress is perfect for work. x

Public speaking is such a great skill to have - I don't have to do it that often, thankfully, but my biggest peeve is that I blush like crazy, even if I'm not that nervous!

You look absolutely gorgeous here, the perfect confidence boosting outfit! Glad the course went well, public speaking is on my list of least favourite activities, I am SO bad at it!
