Ballet Shoes

Oh transitional dressing. Why you so hard? It was unexpectedly sunny at the weekend and I ended up being way too hot in this outfit, nice though it was. The focus was my shoes which were sent to me by Rainbow club. They are primarily a website for bridal shoes, and offer a bespoke dying service for when you've worn your white wedding shoes on the big day and want to dye them a slightly more practical colour to wear them again.

Of course it's not just for brides, and I could see the service working well for other special occaisions where you are stuggling to find shoes that match your outfit. I went for these plain flats, as I never really wear heels these days, and a pretty pale pink colour I knew would go well with a lot of my clothes. You can tell these are special occaision shoes - and I wouldn't wear them everyday for fear of getting them mucky, but for me these are perfect for dancing the night away at (someone else's) wedding, or perhaps a work party.

These shoes are lovely! I am all about thin jumpers and layers for this weird weather but transitional dressing is hard!

Looks super cozy! Those flats are adorable. It's definitely been difficult transitioning this season as its chilly in the morning and the office is freezing but then at lunch time it's gorgeous and 70. Lots of layers!
